Years ago I found one that was willing to work with me and for a little bit extra I got a decent job out of it. I did a lot of the prep work and took off the trim that they would normally just mask off (and usually not too well, either). The only real issues were places I had not prepped well, and they said they would take care of, that stuff was sub-par. Apparently they had a good painter (which can be the case when you paint 100 cars a week) because the paint was laid on very smooth, with very little trash in it. The key to painting is really in the surface preparation and the finishing (wet sanding and buffing) afterwards.
